ProxyShare ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.proxyshare.io and the ProxyShare proxy network service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect your email address, payment information (processed by our payment provider Stripe), and account credentials.

Usage Data

We record bandwidth consumption, connection timestamps, and error rates for billing and service quality purposes. We do not log the content of proxied requests or the URLs you access through our network.

Website Analytics

We collect standard web analytics data (page views, referral sources, browser type) to improve our website. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual proxy usage.

2. Proxy Traffic Handling

ProxyShare operates as a pass-through proxy network. We do not inspect, store, modify, or log the content of traffic routed through our proxies. We record only the metadata necessary for billing: bytes transferred, connection timestamps, and success/failure status codes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the proxy service
• To process payments and manage your account
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, usage alerts)
• To detect and prevent abuse of the network
• To improve service quality and reliability

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: our payment processor (Stripe) to handle transactions; law enforcement when required by valid legal process; and service providers who assist in operating our infrastructure under strict confidentiality agreements.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process personal data under the legal basis of contractual necessity (to provide the service you purchased) and legitimate interest (to maintain network security). Account information is retained for the duration of your account plus 12 months after deletion. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by tax regulations. Usage metadata (bandwidth logs) is retained for 90 days for billing reconciliation and then permanently deleted.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored data, and access controls for internal systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
